The following work is a final project completed for a course in Visual Design. For this assignment, students designed a landing page for their ideas of a mock business/product. My chosen theme was that of a Caribbean Lounge reflective of my own heritage and tastes for urban nightlife; fittingly named, Golden Point.

Some of the tasks completed served as personal firsts for me, as up until this project, I had little practice incorporating user research to such an extreme. From conducting live interviews, designing moodboards, and creating personas; much was done on the research front to capture the proper feel of this establishment.

The original goals for this project was not to merely create an attractive brand befitting its target audience. Above everything, Golden Point serves as a solid impression to those unfamiliar with West Indian traditions, delivers a modern yet authentic cuisine that even older crowds can appreciate, and gives users a striking experience reminiscent of a vacation not far from home.
